Text description of each offer in plain text format with paragraph indentation. It must only contain information about the product in the Czech language. The beginning of the description should summarize the main advantages of the product in a few sentences.

The description must not contain:

  • advertising texts and slogans promoting an online store
  • excessively repetitive keywords or phrases (twice or more in a row)

It is not desirable to repeat the name of the manufacturer or the model designation of the product in the description. Do not insert information related to free gifts, for which the EXTRA_MESSAGE tag is intended. Excessive punctuation, use of emoticons or ending sentences with three periods (…) are not allowed. Periods and commas must be followed by spaces, as is common in Czech texts.

The name of the offer, which must faithfully describe its nature. It must contain all the necessary information to make the offer name distinguishable from other offers in the XML feed. It can contain information that is specific to the store, e.g. “+ free gift”. It is essentially an extended PRODUCTNAME tag including attributes. This name will be used if the offer is not paired and will be displayed in the offers.

Include the actual manufacturer of the product in the name, not the brand that your products are compatible with. You can include information about compatibility with certain brands in the ‘description’ attribute.

This field must not include:

  •  advertising slogans and superlatives (e.g. ‘cheapest deal’)
  •  excessively repetitive keywords or phrases (twice or more in a row)
  •  excessive punctuation, emoticons, three periods (…) and exclamation marks
  •  information that is not directly related to the offer

The maximum display length is 64 characters, with spaces after periods and commas, as is common in Czech texts. Only one exclamation mark is allowed in the item name. The exclamation mark must not be preceded by a space.

With this tag, you will always be able to uniquely identify an offer and track its history and performance on Zboží.cz, even if its URL or name changes. Therefore, it is crucial that it remains the same even if the offer name, XML feed and its URL or e-commerce solution changes.

In order for a given EXTRA_MESSAGE with text information to be displayed on the website, the corresponding EXTRA_MESSAGE must be displayed in the feed. These are optional new tags. The maximum frequency is 1x.

GTIN, Global Trade Item Number

Eight-, twelve-, thirteen-, or fourteen-digit numbers without spaces are accepted.

The Global Trade Item Number GTIN (often incorrectly called EAN) is used to identify trade items internationally in the following formats:

GTIN-13 – 13 digits, encoded in EAN-13 barcode.

Any combination of up to 36 characters [0-9, a-z, A-Z, _ , -], i.e. numbers zero to nine, upper and lower case letters without diacritics, underscores and hyphens is allowed to denote a group of model variant offers.

This tag is very important in the creation of model variants for individual offers and its introduction significantly contributes to the quality of the supplied data and the presentation of offers at the Zboží.cz platform. In the Clothing and Fashion section, the <ITEMGROUP_ID> tag can be used to merge groups of offers directly and thus contribute to a clearer view of the offers.

Identifier of the location where the offer is in stock for immediate personal collection. It must be possible to inspect, test and, if necessary, claim the product at such a collection point. If the identifier is filled in and the DELIVERY_DATE tag is set to 0 (in stock), it can be found on the Zboží.cz website using the “In store” (Na prodejně) filter.

The identifier of the collection location is the ID from Firmy.cz. In the administration of Zboží.cz, in the tab “Store” (Provozovna) and then “Collection locations” (Výdejní místa), there is an overview of the ID from Firmy.cz, which is used as an identifier in the XML feed.
